Vision, Mission - The God's Temple

The mission and the vision of the Strajerul Church, are defined based on some essential characteristics of the Christianity: universalism, tradition, community, cultural relevance and impact and contemporaneousness.

Vision

Strajerul Church is a local church that leads a contemporary community way of life and values each person as the image of God. This community uses the spiritual values in order to bring-up-to-date and spread the Christian message in its universality and wholeness. The local church communicates with the other churches and confessions in order to be a part of the richness and diversity of the Church. Strajerul Church is not a society built upon the structures of this world, but it is a living organism integrated into the body and the spirit of the Church, that turns the man and the world into Christ, through the Holy Spirit.

Mission

The mission of the Strajerul Church is a part of the great mission of the Church of Christ that is to bring the salvation upon human beings by turning them into disciples.

The Strajerul Church’s mission is to promote the Christian values in Romanian society on all the levels and to preach and extent the Kingdom of God in the city of Iasi, in Romania and in the world. This mission will be accomplished through the example of a Christian community life (which reflected the reality of Church of Christ) and through an open dialog with other Churches and confessions of faith.

Strajerul Church promotes the Christian values presented in the Holly Scripture through the Biblical, creative and critical thought, and achieved by the Church during its history.

These values can be summed up as it follows:

• study of the Scripture
• prophetic spirit
• missionary spirit

Strajerul Church, as a local church, tries to inform all social and age categories of the message of the Scripture, paying special attention to the young generation that lacks now-a-days the true values.
